It's War!

Imperial War Museum at Salford Quays.

Near Victoria

Across from the main entrance to Victoria Station in Manchester was this. Now there's a building site, soon there will something modern and monstrous. Probably.

Merry Christmas and that

Not sure what this shop's selling. Maybe it's shop dummies.

The Nearest I'll Be Getting to a Christmas Tree

This was taken on Piccadilly bus station, of all places.

Beams

The Royal Exchange theatre in Manchester. During a matinee performance on a sunny day; lots of stage smoke filling the hall, and sun beaming in through the domes.

Winter Hill, 6am

I can never sleep properly in Wez' attic room. Awake at 6am, took some pictures out of the skylight.

Rainbow

In Manchester, around the place, are these rainbow mosaics. Something to with marking sights of significant or historical events in gay culture. This one was down by the canal. Goodness only knows what saucy capers went on down there to warrant one.

Tall Things

P, L, A and me walking back after the Elbow thing.

Elbow on the Big Telly

Couldn't get tickets for Elbow at the Bridgwater Hall, so watched them on the massive screen at Castlefield. Booze, food, great company, perfect weather. Perfect evening.

Haze

Hazel doesn't really look like this.

Purple Haze

This graffiti has been on this shutter in the Northern Quarter for as long as I can remember. As Manc memorabilia, it's probably worth summat now.

[Edit - Oh, it's gone now. I didn't hear anything about it being auctioned at Sotheby's or anything. Maybe it was just me that had the affection.]
